I'm currently spending a semester at the University of Guadalajara. There I am enrolled in 'International Relations', because - surprise - Atlantic Studies/ History, Culture and Society does not exist here. I'm taking two courses and doing research for my research report. At first it wasn't so easy to keep up, especially because I don't speak much Spanish. Reading Spanish texts still takes a long time. But I'm finding my way around better and better and the city is really nice, although unfortunately with a bit of smog. If you invest a few hours driving, you can reach many cities etc. at the weekends. For example, Tequila is just around the corner. And four hours inland is Queretaro, which I personally find very nice because it has the character of a small town, but is a big city.
