Universidad de Costa Rica
The University of Costa Rica is a public university in Costa Rica. The main campus is located in San Pedro, part of the capital San José.
It was founded in 1940 and is the oldest and largest university in the country. It currently has around 41,000 students. The school year in Costa Rica runs from February to December and is divided into two semesters.

Universidad de Concepción/Chile
The Universidad de Concepción is a university in Concepción, Chile. Founded in 1919, it was the first regional university in Chile. As the third largest university in Chile, it is one of the most important universities in Latin America.
The university currently offers 82 study programs across 18 faculties and has around 60,000 students.

Universidad del Norte /Colombia
The Universidad del Norte is a private and independent university in Barranquilla in northern Colombia. Barranquilla is the largest city with the second largest port in the Caribbean. The university was founded in 1966 on the initiative of an American group of companies.
The Universidad del Norte is currently divided into ten faculties and offers a total of 28 Bachelor's degree programmes, 62 professional specialization programmes, 50 Master's degree programmes and 15 doctoral programmes. Around 13,000 students are enrolled.

Universidad Autonónoma de Mexico (UNAM) – Mexico City/Mexico
The Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México was founded in 1551, making it one of the oldest and largest universities on the American continent. According to the annual QS World University Ranking, it is one of the best Latin American universities.
Mexico City is the heart of the Mexican Republic. It is located in the middle of the country, has around 8.8 million inhabitants and is the political, economic, social and cultural center.
